Fisker Karma S Sunset Concept

Via Jalopnik:
Fisker teased us earlier this week with a detail shot of the Karma S Sunset Concept, but we decided to uncover the droptop a little early thanks to KORSdesign.

Henrik Fisker’s little coachbuilding shop will take the wraps off of the Fisker Karma production car at the Detroit Auto Show and will have a little something extra to show off their range of abilities. Fisker’s little something extra will actually be a little less by removing two of the doors and the roof from the Karma sedan. Officially dubbed the Fisker Karma S Sunset, the concept will feature the same plug-in Q-DRIVE lithium-ion battery powertrain good for 50 miles on a single charge and roughly 408 horsepower from two electric motors. A small gasoline engine turns the generator and should allow for extra range, though it’s not yet been determined what that range will be.

2010 Ford Taurus

Via Jalopnik:

Ford has taken the smart approach by loosening the hold on the Gillette razor design team, giving us Yanks some of the Euro flavor we’ve been asking for. The 2010 Ford Taurus, set to make its official debut next month at the Detroit Auto Show, is finally on track to become a competitive sedan all over again. Using the recently released Lincoln MKS as its base (which itself is based off the current model Ford Taurus / Ford Five Hundred), the new 2010 Taurus appears to be more sophisticated in every way. more.

2010 Dodge EV

Via Jalopnik:

Chrysler shocked us in September with an electric program appearing from nowhere. The centerpiece was the Dodge EV — a plug-in electric sportscar. Sources tell us the little electric's been caught testing around Detroit sporting some fascia changes. We've asked KORSdesign to provide us with a gallery of illustrations of what the Lotus-derived EV looks like with out the camouflage below the jump.

If it hadn’t been sporting the huge Dodge graphics, we could have easily mistaken this for a Lotus Europa; which it really is, yet isn’t. Seriously though, which is it? Chrysler feels your pain (and lots of its own) and has fortunately taken the time to give the little EV a recognizable face comprised of the signature Dodge cross-hair grille, a pair of foglamps and unique headlamps. We expect the Dodge EV to take inspiration from the 2007 Dodge Demon concept in its front-end styling and remain virtually unchanged in its side profile. Fortunately for Chrysler, the Europa somehow managed to resemble a Dodge from the rear, so we’re not expecting any changes from the original Lotus design of the tush-end.

Will this piece of putative vaporware actually make it to production? We can’t say. Given Chrysler’s current financial situation, we don’t think a two-seat electric sports car is the best plan for a Pentastar that, given a few months time, could be Penta-gone.

2010 VW Beetle

Via Jalopnik:

When Volkswagen released the New Beetle in 1998 it was a huge retro hit, but as all things do; it got stale. We're told VW is currently working on a replacement model due to be released in 2010 as either a 2010 or 2011 model year product. But what should we expect from this new New Beetle? We're told the Ragster concept, first shown at the 2005 Detroit Auto Show, provided a slight glimpse into how a redesigned New Beetle could look. Our sources tell us the Beetle will lose some of its cutesy flair in favor of a more grownup look, something that will appeal to more than a few VW fans. The car will ride on the same next-gen Group A platform due out next year for pretty much every small and mid-size car in the VW stable, and feature similar choices from VW's lineup of four-cylinder engines. It's also a possibility VW will give U.S. buyers the choice of an 1896cc TDI inline-four that is currently serving duty in the Polo. A convertible model will follow the introduction of the coupe and there is also a possibility of a second four door Beetle model that will ride on the Golf platform. We’ve had KORSdesign illustrate what this new New Beetle could look like. Tell us what you think in the comments below.

2009 Nissan 370Z

Via Jalopnik:
With the new
2009 Nissan 370Z scheduled to drop cloth at the LA Auto Show at the end of November, we figured it high time to give you an up-close look at what you should expect to see. Better yet, we decided not to give you some namby-pamby camo-covered silliness in favor of some speculatively rendered (sans a lot of speculation) shots of the new, slightly-smaller, but also slightly up-powered Z-car thanks to our good friends at KORS Design. Although we already all know to expect the 3.7-liter Nissan VQ engine under the hood just like the Infiniti G37 coupe and sedan, we're expecting it to seriously kick some ass, more than likely exceeding the G37 coupe's 330 HP and 270 lb-ft of torque. But that's not all we should expect. Hit the jump for the rest of the story.

2010 Nissan Titan

Via Jalopnik:
As part of recent negotiations between Nissan and Chrysler, the next-generation full-size light duty truck, the 2011 Nissan Titan, will be based on the new 2009 Dodge Ram. In return, Chrysler will get a much needed small car and the heartfelt gratitude of Carlos Ghosn. We've asked the good folks at KORSDesign to render up what they think the next-gen Titan's going to look like. Check out their pics below and hit the jump for their expectations.

2010 Buick LaCrosse

Via Jalopnik:

Customers interested in buying something new from the Buick brand have been left high and dry since the release of the Enclave CUV in early 2007. They won’t have to wait much longer. While we've seen it fairly un-covered and we've already seen a little tease, our sources tell us these renderings we've commissioned from the folks at KORSDesign are almost exactly what you should expect to see when GM reveals the 2010 Buick LaCrosse officially in November at the LA Auto Show. Check out the gallery of renderings below and then hit the jump to see our official spy report.
